Materials:

Brown plush yarn

Light brown plush yarn

( I am not writing the brand of yarn, you can use any, just a toy can be a bit different size)

4 mm hook

Yarn needleS

Scissors

Thin black yarn for the eyes or safety eyes, as you wish

Thin brown yarn for the hair

The instruction for one colored cat, if you want a few, so just cut the yarn where you think it will be good and make a knot, attaching another color and change the color every time, when you will be on that spot. The second way to do so, to attach the yarn with a knot, but not cutting the previous one, just leave it hanging and continue with second co

Head:

R1: MR + 6 sc

R2: inc around (12)

R3: 1 sc + inc (18)

R4: 2 sc + inc (24)

R5: 3 sc + inc (30)

R6: 4 sc + inc (36)

R7-14: 36 sc

Between 10 – 11 rows, you can attach safety eyes, between eyes 4 sc. In my case, I sew it, because made this plushie for the infant.

Stuff the head.

Cut the tarn, leaving a ling tail. Tide the hole with a yarn needle, sewing it through the stitches, in and out.

Make the second arm.

Legs and body:

Stuff it.

Make the second one, but do not cut the yarn.

R23: From one leg make ch 1 and attach the second leg into the sl st and sc around not skipping the ch. (26)

R25-29: sc around each leg + inc at the center of body.

R30-38: 38 sc

Stuff it.

R39: 2 sc + dec (29)

R40-41: 29 sc

R42: 5 sc + dec (25)

R43: 4 sc + dec (21)

R44: 4 sc + dec ( 18)

R45: 4 sc + attach the arm and 4 sc through arm and body st + 5 sc + another 4 sc with the second arm + 1 sc.

Sl st, cut the yarn, leaving a long tail.

Ears:

R3: 3 sc + inc (10)

Make the second ear.

Tail:

Stuff it, but a bit the edge of the tail.

R16: fold on half and sc both sides.

Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail.

Now you can put together the pieces.

Sew the face with the thread.

Add the hair if you want.
